My paternal grandfather was devoted to photography, Leica in hand. My maternal grandfather made his living as a painter. My own work exists where those two lines meet.

Every chance encounter on the road feels, to me, inevitable. What unfolds before my eyes is irreversible — each meeting, each scene, existing only in that singular moment.

What cannot be returned to, I preserve through photography.
